The stop runs great, but what I haven't figured out yet is how to get 100% parallelism of the stop, because I still have to check with a stop strike gauge. However, the backlash is significantly less than without the conversion kit, and most importantly, it's always the same inaccuracy of about +1.5mm at the top end, rather than a random deviation of +/- 3-5mm. 😄 I think you have to take the sliders off and on a few times and play with the set screws until they are aligned exactly the same, then the play should actually disappear. Maybe you could provide more detailed instructions? The conversion is otherwise very easy; rather five than 15 minutes. However, I was a bit irritated, because there must have been a revision since the video was produced; the grub screw (with 1.5 Allen) to adjust the clearance was replaced by a larger (M3?) cylinder head screw. However, this is now easier to reach and adjust. One thing you have to be aware of though: The super smooth running of the stop over the table, as you know it from numerous YouTube videos, does not quite correspond to reality. It is possible to adjust the bearings in such a way that the rip fence runs over the entire rail with a light tap and the ball bearings purr once, or it feels like it is already floating. However, this meant a very large play of the stop; the bearings need a certain pressure to keep the stop reasonably parallel. Apart from that, it is very annoying when the stop is so extremely smooth-running, since you move it so even with the lightest tapping against it already 3-4mm. If you tighten the bearings a little, the stop still glides very well (and worlds better than before the conversion), so you can still put at any point and move it without force - and especially without tilting (!) - but just much more precise. Less show effect, but clearly more benefit. 7-14 days should take the delivery, after 10 days, the package was there. Can not say anything. 👌🏻
